Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 June will be a weekend of art. Venice becomes the protagonist of two evenings dedicated to art with the opening of exhibitions, museums and countless initiatives that will animate the city during the long night offering the unmissable opportunity to appreciate the exterminated art heritage of Venice with activities and entertainment proposals created exclusively for Art Night.
Organized by the Ca ‘Foscari University of Venice in collaboration with the City of Venice and under the patronage of the Veneto Region, the event has reached its 8th edition.
Starting at 18.00 on Saturday 23 June, with the opening of the gates of Ca’ Foscari which will kick off the night, the whole city will be animated by the calli and campielli with the free evening opening of museums, foundations, galleries, libraries, institutions, theaters and cultural associations.
At 18.30 there is the first activity dedicated to children (5-11 years), an educational workshop entitled “150 years and do not feel them! Let’s paint in the open air”.
At 18.45 and at 21 there is the Team Game “Intrigues in the Palace: Francesco Foscari and the University”, which traces the events of the Doge from which the Ca ‘Foscari University Venice took its name: the illustrious Francesco Foscari. At 22.30 the grand finale at Ca ‘Foscari with “BACH BOX”, a multimedia show by Matthieu Mantanus, pianist, director, popularizer and composer.
